Hagg report #2

Just got back from a fun day a Hagg. One beautiful day, that's for sure. Along with the warm weather, comes all the boaters and jetskiers. Called it a day around noon. A lot tougher to get bit in the full sun than a few days ago. Water hit 60 in a few back-end coves, but still around 58 or so in most of the lake. First cast with a tube got me a nice chunky smallmouth. Great way to start the morning, but the bites were tough after that. Ended with 3 smallies and 4 largemouth. Largemouth came from grass and the smallies from inside points in deeper water. Off to Cullaby tommorrow for that state record largemouth.................:meme:

Big fish today was the first smallmouth.....guessing about 2 1/2. All the rest were cookie cutter 1 1/2 to 2 lbs.
