hey i broke my fly rod while fighting a king and the people that i got it from went out of business so does anybody know somebody that can fix my fly rod?

Did the tip break? if so you might be able to find a replacement tip. what company made the rod?

what company made it? If it is anything other than the last 6-8 inches of the rod I would reccomend getting a new one with a lifetime warranty. Eventually they will pay for themselves.

About the only way you can fix that is to sleeve the broken area with another piece of material - needless to say it will change the action of the blank.
Take a look at this thread - Rivergeek fixed on of his rods the pic shows what it looked like afterwards.

the trick is finding a piece with the right taper - good luck
