Not really anything important... BUT!!!

If you catch...

a GIGANTIC FISH

WITH A SILVER FORD FENDER MODEL A

AND A RED WEDDING RING WITH A SILVER BLADE

HANGING FROM ITS MOUTH...

Please PM me?!

Thanks! :-D

Hagg lake report 5/3/08:

Fished from 11:30 til about 5:00, went 7/8. The 8th fish was that gigantic monstrosity!

I don't know what it was, but we had our rods set up with 2 on the starboard and 1 on the port side, and the back rod just gets slammed and when my buddy goes to lift the rod out of the holder, he sets the hook and tries to start reeling but then his line goes immediately slack - he lost his whole set up (above mentioned gear). Then as I go to reel in ( the rod up front) It starts to bend over big time... and when I pull up and see my gear reach the top of the water I see a big boil about the size of a dinner plate and i see my buddy's gear appear and disappear in about 3 seconds. Looked like my gear caught his and his still had the fish on it. Didn't get any look at the fish but man it must have been a monster. And now its got about 13 dollars worth of gear hanging from its mouth. So if you catch it, please return it! Thanks! :-D

I'm sorry for you loss...:flowered:

That's funny though! There are some monsters in there. I had one follow in a 10" trout I had hooked near the damn once. I looked in the water and thought, why is there a salmon head looking at me?... Then it turned so I could see it's huge cross section, it looked at the little minnow I had one(I had forgot about my fish at that point), then swam off. I keep Coho in the ocean smaller than that trout! I keep telling my friends that there are monsters in the lake, but I don't think they believe me.

My father also hooked into a huge dead bass in Hagg with a nice big Rapala in it's mouth(probably the cause of death). He pulled out the lure and threw back the dead fish. He told me he had no idea that there were bass that large in the lake. I then told him about the state record smallmouth from Hagg lake.

So there you go, two possible culprits for you gear loss...

Yeah! Gives me the creeps about what kind of fish live in there!

I was always told of the big fish in there, I have never just experienced seeing one like that in person.

There was a 15.5lb trout brought out of there yesterday morning.

Any advice on tactic for targeting the big ones from the bank there. I can cathc a limit of 10' with powerbait, but anything for specificly big fish. I like the rapala idea. I will also be out there for the derby. There are monsters in there go to the bait shop and look at the photos.:thisbig:
