Spun around a few times while fishing alone in the wind at Devils today ! Nobody to help steer when I have a fish on!

I kinda like the wind there though- the fishing seems to be better than when it's calm. Caught many trouts, but it took about five hours before I found this one- or it found me! My favorite spoon seldom lets me down.

I didn't measure it because I forgot and because I was a one man cameraman and fish holder/netter/steerer, etc. I think he would have been close to 18 inches. That's my story anyway.

About an hour later this chunky one grabbed the superlure again.

I did measure him at 15 inches- but by the way he's eating, he won't be small for long!

Trolled this lure most of the day. Did catch a couple fish on an orange/white needlefish and a couple later on the trout pattern. Also caught a couple nice 14 inch native cutthroats on a fly. Most of the fish were within a 100yds of the big grass point on the west shoreline. Didn't catch any at the north or south ends of the lake??? Total was 43- all were released.

wow great to hear trollin man wish I could have been there....reminds me of a couple months ago you allways get some nice fish. how big were the cuts? also did you fish by the red house? if so any luck, sounds like the fish are holding off sandpoint.

Went there about two weeks again. Flys. Three patterns. One was a stealbugger. The Pistol Pete was the best. Hooked into 6 big ones (15" to 19") landed three of them. They were hitting the fly on the nose. I had hooked on to 30 other small ones and lost have of them. Releast most of the fish. Had a great time. Most of the fishing was on the North side. Will try that again!!
