My grandson is anxious to do some trout fishing. Has anyone fished Hagg Lake this week? Any reports?

Fished most of the day yesterday on boat ramp A side caught fish all day all were between about 8 and 16 inches. If your using a boat trolling ford fenders along the shorlines by the dam and boat ramp A were producing for everyone I saw out there. Good luck.

Haven't heard much but my sources have told me some places closer to you might produce fish. One starting with a "C" and one that starts with "B" hopefully the weather cooperates and you get into some fish.

Thanks RS, I know about "C" (used to live by it), and "B". I love those 2 places. However for my grandson a boat ride is still half the fun.

I guess we will give Hagg a try. I will give a report.

We smashed them all day today i got a limet and so did my buddy 13 fish in one day all nice sized and i got a nice bass to look at my tube but i lost interest.

were you fishing off of the bank or in a boat. im going to take my 2 boys out on saturday in the boat hope we can hook into them like that they would be stoked.

had plans to hit it early this morning but as all plans go early turned into 11:30 o'well. got on the water and headed for the dam and wham fish on what a mess lucky it was small i had my 4 year old pushing and shoving to make it to the rod holder :meme:then the rain started in and made a short trip of it (i didn't put the top back on or put the heater back in):shrug: made a couple more passes up and down the dam got a few more then it was off the water and back to warm. the depth finder said that the water temp was 54deg my truck said that the outside temp was 50. the guy at the tackle shop said that there was a 15lb.er brought in this morning. ill have to get back out and see if there are any more.
