I hear the WN trout opener was a bust over on the east side. 1.7 fish per angler st. wide! Cold temps and frozen lakes kept fry from feeding and they are averaging 6-8". Oh man I hope I can coax a boat limit of tripoloids or hold overs on Friday-Saturday!

Best of luck to you this weekend. The big snowpack and cold weather sure enough has hampered the Spring high lake fishing in Washington and Oregon. On the upside... with all of the snow melt and influx of cold water maybe the usual dog days of late summer will transform into a hot weather/hot fishing combo. Sounds good anyway! :cheers:
