We were there on Friday and Saturday....I really don't want to mislead you with my post...cause it was my first time there and I have never really fished for Kokes before.....seems like everyone on the lake was headed to the met arm though.....we stayed in the crooked and deschutes arms....and only managed one bull trout...but ,like I said dont' count my numbers.......

I didn't get to talk to a soul....the reasdon we couldn't head up was problems with my big motor....so, we stayed close to where we launched at the crooked.....I do know from the guys who were trolling with us around our area said they weren't really marking anything.....maybe fish-on-bend will post tonight I think he was headed up

My wife and I took the kids out on Saturday. We did pretty well on the West side of Chinook Island with 1/2oz Gibbs minnows in pink and white. Just casted them out and jigged back to the boat. Most of our fish were in the 12"-13" range and they were nice and fat.

Heading to LBC next weekend to try trolling for browns for the first time. My 3 kids were very dissapointed we missed salmon this year. Did not have the boat ready in time, before they closed the run down. I am realy in the need for good info on this lake and lures. Been reading as much posts as I can. Begging for someone to give up a few secrets (PM if you like), to ensure my kids get some good fish. We will be fishing out of a 19' alumaweld with downriggers. We also practice good catch and release. Only keeping the ones that aren't going to make it.
