View Full Version : 24' Miller marine
Hey guys I am thinking of selling my new boat. She is a 2001 23'11" miller marine with twin 2001 115 horse Yamaha 4 strokes.Motors have maybe 15minutes on them.I fired them for the first time yesterday. Its a 20 degree hull with 4 lifting strakes.Self bailing deck.triple axle aluminum trailer. The off shore bracket is from Gil.Has digital tachs and digital fuel and battery and engine temp ect.Dual batterys with selector switch.I am thinking of selling to fund a different boat.Boat needs a little work , maybe 2-3 days worth.I will probable finish the electric on Monday then it will need to have the Rhino linning reshot.$32000

do you have in pics of the deck layout of the boat?
Only 15 minutes on 01' motors... Are those leftovers from the back of a wherehouse somewhere??
Looks like a nice ride from the one pic.

Wow amazing ride
What happened was Jim Miller owner of Miller Marine built the boat for his old friend Will. Will towed the boat to New Mexico to finish up the wiring and a few other things and was going to retire. That why she has a 20 degree hull.It was built as a ocean boat.Well Will started to get really depressed and never finished the boat. Will passes away and the boat sat at his widows house for a year until Jim Miller towed it up to his house where it sat for another year while Wills widow figured what she wanted to do.I drove over to Boice a couple of months ago and bought the boat.My only bad move was not showing the boat to my wife before I bought it.I have two small kids and she wants a boat that they can sleep on.She is not totally against the boat.If I really wanted to keep it she would go alone with me.I have my eye on another boat. The problem is the other boat is a glass boat(seasport) and I much prefer a aluminum boat.I really want to be able to beach the boat.SOOOOOOOOOOOO thats how a boat can have a pair of 2001 motors with 15 minutes on they.:D

Where are these boats manufactured and is this a particular model ?
What is the history of the manufacturer and why a Gil bracket ?
Miller marine is out of Boise Idaho.I don't know any particular model for this boat.Jim Miller (now retired)built it for his friend so it is a one off.Miller marine is best known for jet river boats.I don't know why they chose to use a Gil Braket rather than make their own.I never thought to ask.
