Dont forget to get hose new parking permits for the boat ramps. First of the year is coming soon, I called and got both my Metro and State Parks pass last week since you need both if you are going to have your rig shuttled on the Sandy. You can get your metero pass by calling or going by Blue Lake or Oxbow offices, Metro Regional Center or by calling (503) 797-1850. MasterCard and Visa are accepted. The link fo the state parks is http://www.oregonstateparks.org/dayuse_permit.php and if you get them early they are $5 off. I called both metro and the state and had mine within a couple days.

I do wish everyone would get together and make one parking pass for everything, I end up with 3 or 4 parking passes on the dash board of my truck each year. Happy Holidays, Firedog

If you're fishing off the beaches of Sauvie Island on ODFW property, you'll also need their parking permit.

Can you buy your 2002 license before Jan 1, 02?

I might fish the morning of the 1st but for sure I'll be watching the Ducks kick some Buffalo butt in the afternoon.

Mike

And....The St. Helens Port Authority just raised it's annual launch ramp fee from $30 to $50!...a 66% increase in one year!

.....gosh, I wonder how they would feel if all of 'their' operational costs went up 66% this year?

Like garyk said dont forget those Sauvie Island permits for Duck hunting also. To many different parking permits, at least the one from the state is a small sticker so it doesn't slide around on the dash.
