Bev and Dot

They drift down the river,
Rowing along in their boat.
They are steelhead pros.
The best that are afloat.

The boat skims along,
Just like a rocket.
Catching the fish,
In each little pocket.

Bev’s on the oars.
She knows to be ready,
When Dot hooks a fish,
In that backwater eddy.

Jumping and splashing,
It just won’t come in.
But Dot knows just how,
To bring him and win.

These two ladies,
Are really so neat.
Just ask any others,
They just can’t be beat.

Cute poem, but not one that is true everytime.. :shocked: we got skunked last Friday on the Sandy. BUT, so did 12 other boats. We only saw one caught and I felt I was in the Christmas ships parade as well. So mannnny boats! We talked to one guide at the take-out that got skunked too.
Next time, though, look out! I found out how to get em now! he he he he he....ready to go Frank?

Two of Santa's helpers spreading good cheer, gave us some rumcake, no need for cheap beer. In their Santa hats, they ran down the ramp, bright smiling faces, they were going places, no holiday funk!

Why aren't you fishin', quit day dreaming and wishin', as we said our goodbyes. Both little elfs sighed, "AH, too many boats, we'll just go and plunk! :wink:

They ain't fishin' all the time. Someone CAN bake. Was awesome good and thank you. Mark tried to steal it all, but I stopped him. LOL.
