I was near ripple brook ranger station over the weekend, and there was at least a foot of snow in the lower lying areas. I wouldn't think it will be open until closer to memorial weekend unless they decide to plow the road. (which I hope they do, the fishing should be awesome this year)

Last night on Channel 8 they did a story on the trout fishing opener in the higher lakes. They flew over a few, including Timothy. The lake looked to be frozen over still.

If i can get up to timothy lake weekend of may 17th im gonna take my kids up fishin.
