Hey guys, Im an ol time trout guy origianally from Eastern Washington. Grew up fishing Fish trap lake. Fondest memories was back in the Mid 80's my Cousin, uncle and I stayed an extra day and flat trolled out rooster tails and scored a 7-5-4lb brooders... The only time we thought of trolling and what do you know??
Anyway Im heading up there May 3 after the opener and going for Gold again.. Good luck on the trout opener!

I can share a secret tip with you. I'm not really a big trout fishermen but We were on Detroit lake one summer for a couple of day trolling for trout and we used can corn. Every 3-5 minuites we had a trout on.
