Clackamas River?

Will the Clackamas fish tomorrow or Saturday? I am anxious to get out of the early and go somewhere tomorrow PM. I need a fish fix before I go shopping for the Holidays. Fish first, shop later. Whoever said the person giving the gift is the one receiving may not have understood our needs. I firmly believe they meant to say something like the one catching a fish will we sane enough to shop another day. Something like that would work fine.

Having never fished around the dam what is the bait of choice? Eggs, Shrimp, ect?? William makes it sound too good to be true. I would like to take my nephew up there. He has never hooked anything bigger than a rainbow. It will be his birth day next week. Thanks

Fish it from the south side in between the two bushes before the flat tailout and the riffles in the middle. There is a V on top of the water and a clay trench in close where the fish lay. The water is a bit fast for bait, use small corkies and yarn, with some scent. I rarely use bait up there. Hope this helps. Let me know how y'all did.
