I'm looking for the same information - what river will fish OK on the coast this weekend? Nestucca? Siletz? Wilson? I will be on the coast Saturday and NEED good fishing fix.

The kilches had a nice green color today a little high but not bad. I saw one guy with a steelhead but I left for the NF at 9:40. The NF looked about the same green a little high but lots of fish I would go to the NF.

Wiser, I live on the West side and have not fished the Sandy because everyone has told me it's a boat river. How do I get to the Oxe Bowl and is it obvious where to fish. I would think to fish where others are crowding in. Thanks for any clues.

Head east on Division through Gresham and Troutdale and follow the signs. Green signs with Oxbow Park and an arrow in white lettering will lead you through town and the last sign is a brown park sign that takes you to the left at the final intersection.

Lots of good holding water of various types and lots of good bank access. You'll have to explore to find your favorite spots.

Good Luck.
