So is the Kalama starting to see any winters? I have not seen anything posted about the river for a couple of weeks.

They were getting winters before this last batch of high water.

Thanks WR. I will be up there a couple times next week. I will try to make it into the shop and meet you finally.

So, how did the water look today on the Kalama?

I've got the day off tomorrow and will probably hit the East Fork in the morning.

BTW, is there a gage on the Kalama? Can't find a flow report on the internet.

Drove over the Kalama on I-5 at noon today it looked high and way dirty to me as was the Cowlitz above blue creek.

The East fork is running high but should be clear as is the Washougal

Thanks Rob,
I fished the east fork this morning. As you said it was high and clear. Fished Daybreak stretch for a couple of hours with no luck and none caught that I saw. Went up to Lewisville park and fished some more with no luck. Had to leave early, but I did talk with a guy that came by me carrying all his gear out of his driftboat. He had put in at the upper end of Lewiville and limited out on the second hole. He had beached his boat and was putting all his stuff back in his rig before he floated the rest of the way to Daybreak. (?)

Quite a few people on the river for a week day.
