Chinook Ocean Season

WOW a Summer Chinook Season in the Ocean from June 1-June 28. The Columbia River area hasn't had a summer season for Chinook in a bunch of years. I know I am going to talk to my clients on the Lady Dee about this fishery. The last time we had a season the fishing was great with bookend fish in the 18 -24lb. range. These are great fish and with the price of Chinook out of the boat at about $20.00 a pound a 20 lb. fish is pretty cheap for the price of a charter trip. Give it some thought. The Halibut Season starts May 1, I will be taking booking on the Lady Dee. Thanks Capt. E.R. Gene Kane
