First off, thanks to everyone at Lamiglas for hosting the event and all the vendors who brought stuff to show and tell. Especially the presenters for putting on their seminars.

I learned that weaving isn't for me at least not yet - 30+ hours to do a small weave and that is after you know what you are doing. I don't have that kind of patience yet.

Tiger wraps - different burnishing techniques, and more care in removing the sacrificial thread and no burnishing of the top wrap.

Marbling - the right pigments make a huge difference and now that I've seen how to take that on I think I'll have to give it a try after I pickup some goodies.

Inserting one wrap trim bands and locking wraps for single footed spinning guides.

Great info on Alps products and some very reasonably priced Rainshadow Live Bait Tuna rods

More great info on Am Tak's new ring lock guides their Titan nanolite rings.

Great pot luck dinner followed - some really yummy stuff and some great door prizes.

I had a great time also.
Learned many of the same things posted above.
The whole thing rekindled my desire to build some more rods.
I did some building man years ago.

I was lucky enough to be a part of the Build your own blank on Thursday. It was incredible to see a rod blank form, and to be a part of the whole process.

Lamiglas is the bee's knees in my book. I have no need for anything else.
