I have an '06 Alumaweld Intruder with the 350 and a Ham 212 on it. It's 22' and I was wondering if anyone knows what the average fuel flows/useage are for these?

hello, it would be impossible to accurately say what the fuel consumption would be at any particular speed, but. there is a formula that is based on brake specific fuel consumption. in a properly tuned engine it will take .5 lbs of fuel to make 1 horse power. fuel weighs ( give or take ) 6.2 to 6.8 pounds per gallon. so you can surmise that 1 gallon of fuel will support 13.5 horse power for 1 hour. engine torque is a measure of force and engine horse power is a measure of the rate at which work in a given amount of time is done.
so an engine that makes 300 hp will require about 22 gallons per hour at wide open throttle.

Average GPH is probably 6 to 7. At 3200 I'd guess around 8 to 9.

Carb or fuel injected?

if you're fuel injected, you can get a fuel consumption gauge (made by merc) that listens to the fuel injector signals and computes a GPH fuel flow for the engine (just like the computers in your car that give a MPG reading).
Not as exact as an in-line flow sensor that's calibrated correctly, but I had one put on my '06 intruder with the 5.0L / 305ci. I'll cruise at 8-9 GPH, but will get to 16-17 GPH wide open.

I have a 21' Valco 350 Old's with Hamilton Jet (it has a carb). I don't know what my gph is, never really figured it out. But I do know at 3200 rpm I get around 1.2-1.5 pnm. And at 3800-4000 rpm I get around 0.8 pnm. I haven't figured out what top end is yet, 4600 rpm, I don't what to see the price. Hope that helps some what
