I haven't tied an egg loop in years & I guess it's
not like riding a bicycle 'cause I forgot how. I
usually just throw spoons & spinners at those
steelhead but it hasn't been working very well
compared to the plunkers who are killing 'em. All
of the knot sites that I've looked at have every
knot known to man included---except the egg loop.
HELP!!!

Hey microfish, Stick with peeps drawing. Even though that web sight is a good one, it shows the old knot. Peeps (egg loop)knot allows you to easily open the egg loop even when you're winter fishing and your fingers aren't moving very well.
thanks again peeps

Only one thing to add. Wet the wraps before you pull the snell tight. This will keep the line from fraying.

Uncle Bob and all,
Can't take credit for this graphic. I found it on another website.
Glad it was helpful.
