View Full Version : Who can I get a Rod building Kit from.
There's a great resource nearby you shouldn't pass up in reviewing your options ... The Angler's Workshop. (http://www.anglersworkshop.com/)

Another vote for Anglers Workshop. They have it all in stock and not that far from Portland.

You might contact TH Custom Rods. I thought that I saw on their website that they could supply rod kits.

TH, Anglers workshop, Fishermans shack in Monmouth and D and E rods in battleground all great sources for rod kits and componets. Great American tackle in Clackamas also has a few things, give Gary a call over there. You can also cal Glen Wicks in Creswell, I havent ben down there in a few years but I think he is still selling blanks. Mostly seconds but still great blanks and fantastic prices.

Don't quote me on this, but I think the fishermans shack only sells G-Loomis kits. You can get some hot deals on some blanks from Lamiglas, if you order right from Woodland.
YES.. we sell complete rod kits.
Blanks, guides, handle kits, thread, finish etc.. anything you could think of at below retail prices..

I'm on a last minute Christmas gift Idea for my brother. We have to make the gift this year so I'm thinking I will make him a rod. So who can tell me where to get the kit or supplys to build a rod.
I have built rods before and one I still have and proudly landed several oversize gators with.

I haven't ever built a rod so I don't know how their prices are but jannsnetcraft.com has kits and parts to make rods.
