I drove over to Tillamook on Sunday to try for some Sturgeon and noted several folks fishing on the Wilson. Has any one heard how they did. The water looked prety high. The Sturgeon fishing was pretty slow. Hooked one small one and one keeper out of the Tillamood River. It turned out to be a really nice day for the coast in December.

Fished for Steelies on Sunday on the Wilson, lauched at the guide shop at 8:30am, floated down until 2:00pm. Hooked 11 fish, got eight to the boat, released two, kept three limits. It was like a fishfarm. Some guys were there before us left at noon because they got tired of releasing fish. What a problem to have. The water was moving pretty good but was a fair green/off mud color. #12 and #14 Rainbow colored Spin-n-Glos or Birdies, both with sandshrimp, worked the best. Plug fishing didn't work as good. Only got one takedown on an off colored plug. One of the releasers was a burned out Summer Buck, the rest were very Chromy and female, not one was wild.
