I take my 4 year old son crabbing all of the time and he loves it. The only problem is he can't pull the rings by himself. For all of you who have kids you know how important that can be. I did a little research online and found that the stuff on the east coast is smaller since they crab for blue crabs. I ordered both of the crab rings on this site http://www.billssportshop.com/crabsupplies/crabbing2.html and they both work great. The order took about 10 days to get. I thought the shipping was a little steep but the total with shipping for one of each was $15.
You have to watch placement because they are light and sometimes drift. These would be great off of a dock.
Just thought I would pass this along to anyone out there with kids who love to crab.
