had the cowell off never saw spin on oil filter anyone know were it is or if they have one new to me motor

starboard front side of motor, it's behind a plastic sheild that hides it.

Just a little advice on when you change your oil filter....take the cowl off and tilt the motor about half way up...take the plastic cover off over the oil filter (10MM wrench)....loosen the filter just a bit...take a medium size zip-lock bag and put around filter...un-screw the filter all the way and any oil that leaks out will go into the bag and not into and under the power head housing....:excited:

The first oil filter change on my F225 was somewhat difficult. The filter was on extremely tight from the factory. I had to punch a hole through the filter to get it off. It was hard getting my big hand around the filter. Just a little heads up.
