Well went to dr and Dakota has baby bronchitis and RSV (respiratory syncytial virus), very contagious, and he is breathing alright for the time being but the last 24 hours have been scary.. This is nothing to mess with, and it is a epidemic in our area right now. We were lucky he did not have to be admitted today to the hospital and hooked up to oxygen, but we will see what tomorrow brings, dr says day 3 and 4 are the worst, and we are at day 3 and almost day 4. He goes in tomorrow morning to check his oxygen level and if it is higher than 93 we are good if not than I dunno and dont wanna think about it.. Today when they checked his oxygen it was 96 so we were alright although it is suppose to be 99 to 100...
just keep my little guy in your thoughts and prayers...

I have a 3 month old grandson who I hugged and kissed after reading this post. Our family has you in our prayer chain and pray all is better soon.... Our grandson Robert has the honor of being the youngest member of the CCA chapter in the Tri-Cities.
One day maybe they will hook up and go fising together.......

Yes! I will pray for all your family. Our 3 year old foster daughter went through this a month back. 3 long nights sleeping in the recliner with her propped up beside my wife and I taking shifts. Only way she could sleep without coughing. Dr put her on inhaler and other meds. In short been there, done that,. Keep us posted please.

UPDATE~
Went to dr today and poor little fella is not any better, if not worse. Lost 2 ounces over night, high fever, cant breathe, we are on the look out for him struggling with breathing and then it is off to the ER... Scary stuff I tell ya..
Have to take him back tomorrow again for a check up. since he is so young and little dr want to see him daily for a bit, dr says day 4 and 5 are the worse we are at day 3 now, so looks as if I will be sleeping in the recliner for another night.
I dont wish this on anyone. I think Im now getting sick also... dang it..
thank you for all your prayers....

This was a bad RSV year this year. You must be doing a good job, or our Doc probably would have put him in the hospital.
There is not a lot they can do in the hospital. But I know when you have a nervous mom that is struggling you just throw them in the hospital for a day or two.
Keep up the good work. The little buggers can make you nervous. This is where you earn those Mom Merit badges.
