Moved up here to Kitsup county from Oregon a year ago. Last summer I got in a car wreck and hurt my neck. By November I had started to lose the use of my left hand and the pain finally drove to see the surgen. I wound up having to get three vertrbrays fused and a disk removed. Came out of the surgery with bunch of new stainless nuts and bolts, a stiff neck for life, but the pain was gone. My hand continued to get worse. So back to the doctor and another surgery last week. Now the same pain I had has returned and my hand still isnt any better either. Kind of feels like after a qurter million dollars worth of surgery, something should be better....havent been fishing since October and it's not looking to good for me as far as tuna fishing this summer. Dont know if Ive ever been this beat down. Brothers can you spare me a word or two with God? Im like most people of faith that faces this kind of stuff...Im trying to just trust that God is in charge and all things are for the good to those who believe. I know this but they sound like empty words to me tonight so I will lean on those who do believe...I hope you all dont mind getting leaned on...its just your turn...... I just want my life back and to be able to go catch a springer..................................

Spine surgery of any kind is a bit of a roll of the dice. Don't let the injury and pain define your life. You are a pretty young guy.
If you need any help or someone to talk to about it shoot me a pm. I am going to be in AK for about a month. I am not sure of the phone service, but I could rade some emails.
Prayer is fine, but don't be afraid to take a proactive approach to the problem either. There is another guy here in Idaho who is dealing with chronic pain issues related to an accident. You are not alone.
Take care, and I will say a prayer to just to cover all the bases.
