Any news on the Nestucca?? going down tomorrow and need a good report.

Still high. I was there this morning, the river is clearing with maybe 30 inches visibility with a brown tint. Three rivers has great color but it too has a swift current. I was at the hatchery first thing along with about 5 others. The water was ripping pretty fast through there. Very short drifts unless you go to heavy lead and snag all the time. Watch the river levels on IFish and when it gets about 5.5 ft. there should be some fish. BTW I went down to the mouth of three rivers and was the second person there. Wilson still abit high with a milky green color. Kilchis perfect and thats where everyone is at too(take your own rock).

I found a awesome river level site at Oregon live: riverlevels It is giving readings about every half hour. The measurement is coming from behind 101 camp on the Nestucca and the site has lots other of rivers. check it out

With things going up like they are right now (Friday afternoon) I'd say football looks like a good alternative tomorrow. The rivers were high and now they're going higher ... bring extra lead if you have to go fishing.
