Went out fishing yesterday for LM and got into them. We only caught 2 fish and lost one but they were all good fish. The first was 3.5 pounds and the second was 5 pounds 3 ounces. The one we lost was absolutely HUGE. As it was coming in the hook popped out. I grabbed the back end of the fish but couldn't get her. We were guessing around 6 and half pounds. We were fishing 6-7 feet of water near downed logs close to spawning flats. We were using jigs in green pumpkin and fishing them SLOW, dragging them along the bottom with long pauses. What an awesome bite though. Hope everyone else is getting out there.
The first pic is the 5 and the second is 3.5

Im sorry, that report was for yesterday. I changed the post. We went out again today and caught only one but it was close to 4. Dont have a picture of that one though. The weather was terrible but you still can catch fish.

I've fished it every other day for the last 3 weeks and have only gotten one bite. I guess just this little more time has turned on the bite.

Are people that paranoid about folks recognizing their fishing spots?
