Christmas Valley...

I am heading over to Christmas Valley for some motorbiking and would like to hit summer or silver lake for some fishing. Any info on where to go and what works good would be appreciated.

Silver lake really isn't much of a lake, and i don't know if Summer lake has fish. But there is a little man made pond behind the Summer lake motel that has bass, and one behind the Christmas valley motel too. And of course Anna Res.

Are they public or private property? Where's the one behind the XMas Valley motel...I've never seen that one...

The "small" lake in Christmas valley is behind the lakeside terrace motel. I don't think it is private. The one in Summer lake is at " the lodge at summer lake" It is private, but ask and i'm sure they will let you fish there. You can google their web site. They stock Anna Res. with trout and there is some big bass in there.

They use to stock the lake behind the motel with trout years ago no sure if they still do.Call the lodge they can tell you
