My inlaws live in Federal Way. Is there any kokanee fishing in this region? Hoping to drag the boat up and find some fishing this spring. Thanks.

American Lake and Lake Meridian are fairly close to FW. Both have pretty good koke fishing.
Lake Stevens is probably an hour+ from FW but has outstanding Koke fishing. Some of the best in W. Washington.

Riffe lake is a little further away but does have some great koke fishing in it. Usually june is when it gets pretty good, depends on the water level also. But has lots of fish and some decent sized ones mixed in. Also, there is a decent perch bite there at times, last year the koke fishing was not any good so we tried for perch and caught as many as we wanted, some big ones too.
