Picked the granddaughters up around 9:30, got my season sticker and spent the day up until 3:00 with them on Haag Lake. No Fish. Didn't see any caught, didn't hear of any caught, and we didn't get a bite. Trolled and jigged. Water 48 degrees with visibility less than a foot - light brown water with a lot of debris floating around. A lot of people spending a beautiful day out there though, bankers with their lawn chairs, boats, and kayaks. Still a fun time. The no wake zone has shrunk with more room for speed. The new divide line is down by the far boat ramp. Think I'll wait awhile for the water to clear up a bit. That's okay - springer time is coming - or should I say "is here". :applause:
