i was down at the trask last sunday about mile marker 5 by the USGS water level station....i dont know the name of the hole..but, i saw this absolute doofus with two spinners tied onto his line snagging fish....crusty old fish to be exact. dude wasnt even trying to hide the fact that he was doing it. he was running up and down the far bank tossing over the fish and snagging. what kind of idiot are you? cant you figure out how to catch a fish the right way? is it that important you catch a fish that you have to do it that way? where is the sense of fairplay?
i have read strings on here before about snagging but had really never seen any of it going on..till now. if the dude in the red and black coat, with the black, grey and white camo hat, with green rubber chest waders reads this board...you should really be ashamed of yourself. do you go back to work, or home to the wife and brag..."yeah i hooked five today". i will never understand that. it was amusing to see you lose your two spinners in that tree. stay home and take up bass fishing a$$-hole!!!!!

I would have liked to read the end of that story with it finishing with something like "after calling the TIP line and reporting this A-hole, he was soon being written up by our local authorities, hopefully learning a lesson in the form of a hefty ticket." Did you make any effort to turn this guy in? We can talk all we want about how bad snagging is, but until all fishing citizens are willing to do something about it, nothing will change. Don't necessarily confront the guy yourself (who knows what kind of nutjob the guy may be), but at least make a phone call or two.

Do like I did last week and make a 911 call on the cell phone!

IT WORKS, my neighbor, who is a King COunty Sherrif's deputy, told me that he was able to make a couple calls ans found ou that the State Trooper I saw did indeed take the two snaggers down on the Cedar River on Friday.

Man, I feel GOOOOOOD!
