Beginners luck

I drove up on Thursday to have a look. Was wanting to take the Boy out on Friday. Bottom line is: If youre a diehard fisherman. You could launch. You better wear some waders and plan on your tow rig being quite a ways in the water. Lost of snow but its plowed all the way to the lake. Sorry no pics but it was getting pretty dark. I will wait a little while longer.
Thanks for the report. My grandkids are driving me crazy to take them for their winter trip to Detroit.

We went to Detroit today. We fished about two hours. We caught 3 rainbows about 11 inches. It was to cold of water, it was 40 degres. My wife was cold or we would fished longer. The boat ramp was ok I had to back in the water a long ways. Wear waiters if you go. I went to sportsman wherehouse and look at some fish finders. I went home and ordered one. I shop online saved $100. I had a Lawrence X52 that came with my boat and was not too good. I ordered a Humminbird 777C2 FishFinder.5" TFTColor, Display 640V X 480H Ultra-High Resolution. Maximum 4000 Watts Peak-To-Peak (500 Watts RMS) Power Output. It’s an Ultra High Resolution, High Performance Color Fishing System. It cost me $450. Ouch!
Good luck Fishing
