Any WA guys gearing up for the April opener?

I know it is still about two months away but I am getting pretty jacked already. I hope that we get better weather than last year. I was out around chelan and it was cold and freakin windy. Not like the no shirt days of the past. Fishing was affected by the weather I think, we still did pretty good, but not as good as usual. Can't wait. Anyone been hitting Silver lake in Pierce county form the opener the last few years, if so do they still stock the crap out of it?

Battleground, Kress, Klineline, and Lacamas have already been stocked and are open year-round. Don't have to wait for April.

I don't know anyone who waits for "opening day". Like said above those lakes have already been stocked. Horseshoe also

I see opening day as just another milestone in the year, there are a lot of great lakes that open up at the end of april, as there are good lakes open right now. I just got home from fishing for a few hours today, so I'm not waiting for anything. Just seeing if any of you guys had any good trips planned for the april opener that you were looking forward to, as I do. Thread was meant to spark conversation.

I generally hit Silver Lake or Lacamas Lake during the traditional trout opener to avoid the crowds and busy boat launches.

Swift Creek Reservoir is at the top of my list. Gearing up???........uummm, got enuff stuf right now:D Gotta stop.........maybe.

Am getting excited about trolling some cold clear water for trout.

Gearing up? I've been hammering the Rainbows all Winter long. My 4 biggest fish have come since Thanksgiving.

I've got 7lb,9lb,and 11lb Rainbows out of Rufus Woods. I also got a 7 1/2lb Rainbow out of Banks Lake.

If you haven't fished Rufus Woods,you don't know what you're missing.:meme:
