Crabbed Netarts today for the first time. Headded out this morning to catch High slack for crabbing and it was extremely slow. Nine traps with various baits and only 6 crabs to show for it. A couple of other people did a little better, other people did a lot worse. It was still a beautiful day on the water. It felt like a summer day with no rain and the sun to shine on us.

I took my 3 yr old daughter and a couple of friends and had a really good time. I was a little nervous about taking her because I know of the short attention span kids have but she is Daddy's little trooper. We were in that boat for 5 hrs and she enjoyed every minute of it. Can't wait for the next outing.

Hmmm! I took David to a friends house in Oceanside. I saw a bunch of boats out there and thought we might give it a try.
Thanks for the heads up. We'll hit T bay instead?
Any crabbing reports for T bay?
I'm hungry for CRAB!

Last week in T-Bay we took 16 in six pots while we trolled for salmon. Talked to another couple who worked their traps for 23 in four pots.
