I know there was several threads on this a few months ago but I am interested in a general maintenance and check-up on my 150hp Evinrude. Who would you suggest in the Portland area? I checked with Stevens and they want $215. Anyone use someone recently you would recommend? Thanks.

I use Tom's Oatboard repair on Hwy 99 accross from the Bomber. He has a discounted rate in the winter when things slow down. He has a very good reputation in the community also.

I'm not sure exactly what you want in a general check-up but I got a flier from Beaver Marine in Gresham that advertises annual service of any horsepower outboards for $115.00. Basic Winterization is $120. Troller is free with main drive annual/winterization. Plus they will do a free spring startup.
I've had work on an outdrive done there and their work seemed top notch.

You better keep an eye on Snapshot. He still hasn't bought that sled yet. Still negotiating with Stephens. He will find out Wednesday. Hope you find somebody that will take care of your sled for you that won't HOLD YOU UP!!! Maybe you and Snapshot can drag the Tualatin River Wednesday???(race)
