I have been wanting to learn to fish the willamete in and around Salem for Bass. I really enjoy bass fishing, and with the willamette only a few minutes away it would be nice to pick up some tips for this fishery. I recently equiped my sled with an electric motor and would like to put it to good use. I have been doing a lot of reading, but have not been able to find much info in this area. Any suggestions and/or tips to get started?

3 easy steps to fishing the Willy in Salem.
1. Read every post made by Thecrease.
2. Send a PM to Thecrease (Clayton) and beg him to take you out fishing.
3. Pay attention to any advide he gives you.
Well that is how I did it anyways.:D
PS Clayton and I both have our boats out of the water this weekend getting them fixed and since Clayton has the day off tomorrow he might be willing to sit in you back seat if you PM him. But next Saturday he will be fishing from the back of my boat.:cool:

Thanks for the reply. I am new to the ifish community, so please excuse my ignorance. How do I send a PM. I clicked on the ifish loggin name, but there is no contact info for yourself or thecrese??

I'm not the best at explaining it but here it goes.
How to send a PM.
Find a post from the person you wish to contact.
Click on the persons name on left side of you screen.
A drop down menu should appear.
Scroll down to "Send a private massage to ______" and click on that.
You can find a post by Thecrease in the thread at the top of this page.
