Fresh sand shrimp???

Where is a reliable place to pick up fresh sand shrimp in the Portland area. I stopped into G.I. Joes and the cartons of sand shrimp they had were mostly dead. Hardly any wigglers left in the box, and stinky. This is the third time I have stopped there and found this to be the case. I have found it a Fisherman's but it is strictly a timing issue. Sometimes good, sometimes not so good.

The best place I know of, is Great American Tackle Co., in Clackamas. Gary has the freshest Sand Shrimp around. He is meticulous, about their care!! Gary is also a great guy, and I highly recommend him and his Establishment. :wink:

Best sand shrimp I've found is the AM PM mart on Oatfield road in Gladstone. It's near the DMV.
