Heading out to baker city/lagrande area on march 13+. Any ideas for some action out there? I have a buddy who doesnt see a lot of action but wants to think about exploring more so i need to get him hooked.

It's probably a 90% chance it's snowed in, but try Wallowa Lake. Big Kokanee and Big Lake Trout.
You might try penland lake on the way over.

I think it is the Minam river which is doing ok at this time. For the most part, anything that is up in the hill is going to have alot of snow still. Sorry that i don't have any other info. Good luck!!!
