Last year I traveled to the Tri Cities and fished with RKB for salmon near Ringgold. We used a method that I was unfamiliar with and it worked. What I was wondering was if anyone had tried this at Tanner creek on the Columbia.

What we did was drift and drop a weighted line with a gob of eggs, bouncing the bottom. If I remember right it was 2 oz and a splitter with a 20" leader and 2/0 hook. Yarn, small corkie and a golf ball size egg ball. I've also seen people power up river to slow the drift and get the line back behind the boat.

This method also works at the Meat hole boat fishery below Cedar creek.

Has anyone tried this on Silvers stacked in the Columbia?
