This might be an acquired taste for some of you out there.
If you like to spice up your sturgeon a bit more here are some simple recipes to try.
Sturgeons steaks, curry powder, salt, cooking oil.
(Curry powder can be bought at any asian grocery stores)
Paper towel dry the steaks, lightly powder the steaks with curry powder, more powder if you want it to be more spicy. Sprinkle on some salt, pan fry with med/high heat, 'til steaks come to a light brown color. Serve these steaks with white rice and you've got a quick and easy meal.
Another one of my favoirite is pan fry sturgeon with lemon grass. You can get the lemon grass at any asian grocery market, or even pre-mince lemon grass. Just ask for it the clerks will know. Take the lemon grass and cover the steaks, the more the better, sprinkle a little salt and pepper. Pan fry at med/high heat til light brown. And again just serve with white rice and another quick and easy meal.
Hope you enjoy.
