I remember watching t.v. and seeing their infomercials in the past. Who has bought it? Any improvement in catch?

1) The Flying Lure
2) The Helicopter Lure
3) The Banjo Minnow

The banjo minnows are the biggest piece of crap I have ever seen. Dont bother.

Same with the helicopter lure. The flying Lure had merit. A wacky rigged tube jig.

Like to see him do that with Roland Martin's bazooka-like, mortar-launching fishing pole that he is trying to hock on TV now.

I've actually had good luck with my banjo minnows. I know you are all laughing!!! One day I decided to just bring those to my local lake, caught a ton of fish. Used them a few other places after that and have caught fish everywhere I have used them after that day.

I would think if you used the banjo minnow like a super fluke you would catch fish on it.

I remember when the banjo came out..thats what the experienced fisherman were knocking it for....was that it was a Fluke rip-off....or was it a zara spook rip off...i can't remember.

I must say the the banjo does catch fish. Just not more-so than any other bait. The little parts and pieces make it too much of pain in the arse. I do have a buddy though that swears by them in certain situations.

The helicopter lure was just plain ridiculous,

One day out at hagg lake I was trolling along and seen a trout colored banjo minnow broke off on a tree so I grabbed it an tied it on and caught a few nice largemouth on it. The action was pretty cool but I cant bring my self to buy any.. However I did buy some of those walking worms a few years back to try on bedded bass and still have yet to put one in the drink. I also caught a bunch of crappies on the flying lure under a dock about 10+ years ago. I would definately try the flying lure again but they dont sell them anymore. All the rest just come in the dumbest colors.

Never fished the banjo minnow or helicopter lure. But the flying lure was the real deal. I use to fish a pond that had a reall good patch of tulie reeds. I would cast on the veggie edge and let the flying lure swim right to the edge and the pull it up to start another descent. Caught some great fish on it.

Had a friend who did real well with the flying lure (black) at Crane Praire one year. Pitch it up to floating logs and swim it up underneath. Must have looked like those bugs everyone uses for the big trout. Every lure has a time and a place, it is up to the fisherment just to figure that out. Lures are just tools and some mechanics are better than others if you get my drift.

has anyone here ever seen or bought the instant fisherman.to me it looks like junk. The commercial makes me want to buy it though.

I haven't purchased any of these but I was once interviewed for the Terminator Spinnerbait when it first came on TV. We were at a B.A.S.S. event in Dallas when a guy came up asked if he could interview me, hooked me up with a mic, stuck a camera in my face and asked me what I thought about the new titanium spinnerbait. I didn't make the commercial cut though. Guess I should have been more excited for the camera.

hard to believe. but i actually caught a bass on the white/ black flake banjo minnow years ago in san diego at a lake by mission valley mall. i wasnt even into bass fishing then. i think my brother or my dad ordered it. i just kinda randomly threw it along some lily pads and got a hit. i think i still got that stuff in the garage somewhere haha

the instant fishrerman is a joke haha. no kidding i went to a lake last week and there was one sitting on the dock, no doubt somebody reeled it in from the bottom of the lake. it was rusted and had some gunk on it. when we tried collapsing it, water came out. somebody must have really loved that pole haha.

i saw a pocket fisherman the other day at rite aid. i almost bought one just for laughs.

I will buy your "piece of crap" Banjo Minnows from ya! Anyone?? I am serious. I knocked the stuffing outa the smallies over at Brownlee a few years back, they loved them! Of course, they probably would have hit a bundle of hay that day too.....

The Banjo Minnow is one of my favorite topwater baits. The small ones don't sink very well (or at all) and they kill the smallies during late spring and early summer in a smolt color. Last spring I even inadvertently caught a chinook jack on one while fishing for bass.

I have and still to this day use the flying lures for bass.
I knock em dead at my local lake here just out of Toledo at Olalla Lake and I use em at Hyatt lake every year and I do very well with them.

Had em ever since I was young and they were advertised on TV.
