About 10 years ago, spent night at daily lake, seemed the only thing they bit on was mini-marshmellows I had along for 's'mores". Has anyone fished either one latly?

Took my Canoe to Daly a couple years ago. Caught a bunch on small spinners. Brookies were deep, cuts on the surface. No big ones. Might be July before you can get to these lakes this year.

Daly has large numbers of small brookies, cutts and some rainbows. I have only fly-fished it, and consider a slow day there 50+ trout.

Parish is a mini-hike in, but has slightly bigger brookies, but that's it.

I have yet to fish nearby Riggs Lake and Don Lake. Nice hike thru the woods to them, but hard to fish them from shore.

It's going to be awhile before they are accessible.

Fished both a few years ago, the usual Bobber & Fly worked, as well as Thomas Bouyant spoons, nothing big, 7" to 9" Brookies mostly.
