Hit Cottage Grove Res. (lake) last Saturday. LOTs of hold overs making it well worth the trip. Rainbow powerbait, corn, and Patzki eggs. Fish as far up the arm as you legally can. Caught fish up to 20 inches and no smaller than 14.

Thanks for the report, those are nice sized bows. It should be noted that Cottage Grove has a very high mercury level alert advisory in the 2008 Oregon Sport Fishing Regs. Just a heads-up for those who might need to be concerned with that. :wave:

I believe the river above is not legal to fish in...... just the lake.

Nice, my buddy caught a fat 15.5 inch rainbow at the back end of Dorena on his fifth cast using a kastmaster.
