I want to connect my radio and GPS units. They both have a four wire line, and the wires are not big/strong. I don't leave my radio in the boat due to thieves, so I'd like a 4 prong plug on each set of wires for easy connect/disconnect.
I'm sure some of you have Maguivered this, so I'd like to hear your suggestions on how you did it. I looked at an auto parts store, but they didn't have anything suitable for these small gauge wires.
Most appreciatively,
BrianH..

Use a pair of RCA connectors - they are simple two conductor connectors and work well with little wires. Make sure you know what each on is and connect it according to two devices manuals - it isn't very hard

So it sounds like a trip to Radio Shack might be in order.
Thanks StickFish!

I always use the Telco connectors. They are built for small wires. Radio Shack has them. You insert the small wires into the connector and then pinch it shut. It has dielectric in the connector so corrosion is never a problem.

Are those any good for installations where you need to remove the radio?
