Two buyers from our elk auction can't get their elk into California, would like to re-sell them. They are not mine any more, I am only trying to help them out. They must go to a permitted facility if moved live, there are several in Idaho that will take these elk, board them, and allow harvest. The other option is to slaughter them here, take them home as meat, hide and horns. CWD testing is required for all slaughtered elk. Instead of posting descriptions of each elk here, I am only listing their tag number and price. For a description and video of each bull, go to www.oregontrophyelk.com (http://www.oregontrophyelk.com), click on the links at the top.

With the way things have been going lately on the hunting circut/circus. I should by one of those stringy old bulls. It would save money in the long run!!

Come on now, it's the wild ones that are stringy and tough. These boys live the life of Riley, only needing to walk from the hay pile to the water trough to a shade tree. Grain and alfalfa fed, almost fork tender, no wild taste at all. Many people have eaten steaks from these bulls, nothing bad to say yet!

Can one be kept on 1 acre? Trained to bugle on comand to lure in wild bull elk during season? What about sniff out a blood trail? Perhaps sniff out game while in the back of my truck...Kinda like a Strike Dog (Elk). I'm seeing new regulations poppin up in the future if this were true.
What am I talkin about, a live elk in the back of my truck in the woods during Oregon Rifle season wouldnt last til 9 am opening morning.
