Hey! Jennie,

Heres Josh Delafield and Chris Nordling from Oregon City with two fine T-Bay Nooks!
They say they caught these two fish within an hour and a half by the Oyster House, caught with Marie's Famous Shrimp Scent!

Another testimonial that fish are still coming in!

WOW! What a nice catch! October 28, 2001 Sunday!

Thanks Jennie for posting this picture for me.

Josh and Chris are ifish members and are really nice guys.

The two fish were 30 and 23 pounders!
Caught at the Oyster House area on Tillamook Bay.

These fish were very brite and I think more are coming in tonight.

Thanks again,
Marie @ TBC images/icons/cool.gif

Nice fish guys. I tried Tillamook today to no avail...spent the morning flood tide trolling plug-cut herring inside the jetties, and the early afternoon dragging a red-tip spinner and a herring around the ghost hole. Aside from one silver that another boat released, I didn't see any action in the fleet. Crabbing was excellent though, and I got 8 keepers in 1.5 hours.

If this year is like most past years, most of these fish showing up now are Wilson fish.

Nehalem Report:
-----------------

Today October 29, two of my good customers came in with 4 of the most beautiful chrome brite bucks and hens Ive seen yet!

They were fishing Upper Nehalem River, using red and white spinners from Maries Bait Shop.
A 25, 18, 15, and a 12 pounder.

Mark and Rob had such good success with those spinners they came back a baught the last 2 I had on the counter.

Now I have to get more of those lucky spinners!

I hope Jennie sees this and post their picture I sent her today!

I'll keep her busy, won't I ?

Thanks,

My regulars from the Wilson showed up today saying its pretty slow. But I think they aren't telling me everything! They're keeping alot quiet.

Thanks for asking,
Marie @ TBC images/icons/cool.gif

The Wilson is slow. I drifted from Mills to Sollie yesterday and was the only boat. The water was low and clear, 2.4. We hooked one dark Chinook. Need rain bad! Did see a nice winter Steelhead hooked at the gravel pit behind the Guide Shop. Native about 10lbs. on bobber and eggs.

Fishbait,
Your right about that. Since the last rains the bite location has changed below the Oyster House and the fish are no longer those "bronze" Trask and Tillamook fish that have been waiting around. Spinner selection has changed too...at least for me images/icons/wink.gif
