I don't know why, but both this and PP complain that there are more then 8 images in my post. Must be some bug, as there were only 7.

Here's the rest of my original post:

The Bad:

We all might want to reconsider where the Floatilla III.5 should be held. I can’t even imagine this river with 25-50 more boats, and 100+ more people on it! Don’t believe me? This was quite common.

There were lines and lines of boats at every corner or every hole!

As well, where they were boats, there were people! Hey, look who we almost ran in to (Sorry Os!) on the river! All the other “hot” spots were like this.

Snaggers. Decker Creek was nightmare. Donation Bar was nightmare. Typical fishing episode at Decker Creek consisted of BillyBob Local, snagging a woofer in the *** , hauling it up 25’ on the gravel bank, putting his foot on it to stop it from flopping around, yank the hook out of it’s *** , and to KICK the protected chummer back in to the water. Laughing all the while! images/icons/frown.gif Man, BK and I were ******. As we stopped for a break, BK even pulled out a garbage sack and cleaned up the all the crap left by the snaggers and filled an entire garbage sack! All the snaggers did was to look at us like we were insane!

The Ugly:

BK and Joe pose with a Big Ugly images/icons/wink.gif We kept this fish because it really did try to kick BK’s butt and return down river to the ocean. Beng the Team Vision Stud that he is, BK opened up a can of Team Vision Whoop Arse on that fish and eventually won the battle. Knowing that this fish wouldn’t survive to spawn, it was bonked. Sorry RichG images/icons/wink.gif

Nice fish guys, way to go. Looks like the same pic up North as it is down here. Floated the Trask on Friday and the first hole we come to there is about 30+ guys on the bank images/icons/shocked.gif but oh well.

Nice boat too images/icons/cool.gif that wouldn't be a quality boat like a fishrite would it images/icons/grin.gif

It was pretty crowded there, Parker, but you gotta remeber that the vast majority of the river was left untouched because of the filthy water the Turnow branch was puking. So every boat was in the upper east fork. That's why FIII was called off......can you imagine another 30 boats up there? images/icons/shocked.gif

Looks like you guys found some biters even after the water mixed below Cook creek. If I knew there would be biters down in the dirty water, you wouldn't have seen me at the confluence like that. We did see some "interesting" gear being used there at Satko. "Hey....is your hook supposed to be ABOVE the corky like that?" images/icons/rolleyes.gif

Man, aren't those dogs a handful? You go there with silver gear, and the chumleys work you over but good.

Parker,

Was the king hooked deeply? I thought I read somewhere that BK's mantra was "If it aint chrome, it aint comin' home". Not dissin you guy's for keeping it, just curious how the determination as to it's surviveability was made? All a moot point anyway, since kings are legal to keep in the Satsop as well as wild silvers. Does this mean you've reconsidered your arguement on the "world record humpy" thread from the PP board about wild fish? BK must have really put the whoopin' on that fish for it to be so tired that it would die. Oh well, It'll smoke up just fine. images/icons/wink.gif

p.s. RichG called, and said apology accepted. images/icons/grin.gif

You mean the one you left in my truck and that I've "adopted" for the last 6 months? Yup, that'd be the one! images/icons/wink.gif

Speaking of which, didn't you and Joe promise to get me one of the new-logo fleece for my birthday back in April? Still waiting..... images/icons/wink.gif

Don't forget that you also got 1000 of the new Vision green hooks for your birthday too.

Now my birthday is in two weeks and I'm having a surprise party.......just make sure that nobody tells me about it because it is supposed to be a surprise. images/icons/wink.gif images/icons/grin.gif Peace

That King tried it's hardest to kick the snot out of BK. BK won the fight, but at the fishes expense. It was a long, drawn out fight that resulted in a fish that wasn't going to survive if released.

We *could* have released that fish, only to see it dead somewhere down river. Who knows, it *might* have survived. Odds are, it wasn't going to make it.

But, as we all know, Kings have a really hard time surviving long drawn out fights. Their bodies are not designed to do so.

So, it was kept. As for the condition of the meat, it was surprisingly red and firm. A lot more then I would have suspected. At least it was a buck, which tends to have better meat quality then a hen.

Right on Team Vision! BK and Joe are a hoot to fish with, eh Parker? That wouldn't happen to be my Vision pullover fleece that you are wearing, is it Parker? images/icons/wink.gif

BTW, Parker, who is the President of the Sauk Ranch? Better edit that signature back down to the CEO that you are or I will have to reign as Supreme Leader images/icons/wink.gif

Peace
