Thanks for the reminder Marty!

Last year there weren't as many folks as there were seats. Too bad! I fished on my own, in my boat the day of last year's tournament ... angling pressure was pretty low, but I went home with a 31 pound buck and a 37 pound hen. There's great fishing in November and doing it for a good cause makes it that much sweeter!

What are the events besides fishing for two days? I think there is an auction and dinner, correct? Advanced tickets too?

Marty, looking forward to fishing with you on the 8th and 9th, thanks for asking. images/icons/cool.gif images/icons/wink.gif

GF, Pete and Hookset,
Any other information on what guides meeting times and cost?I sure want another chinook. Need to get the skunk off my pole. The last 2 weeks in the T bay and 0 bites. images/icons/mad.gif Tried the Nehalem from Wheeler to about 2 miles up the S. Fork. Lots of fish rolling up there but not too many in the boats. Lots of Native silvers. I was using silver spinners and a blue fox vibrax , nada ,zero, zilch ,not even 1 take down. Maybe this wek I should try either the Trask or Nestucca and use some eggs. Tight lines!! images/icons/cool.gif

From what I remember the cost is $500 each for two days, could be more now.

I just spoke with Rod Brobeck from OWHF and he said he has opening for 4 anglers and 2 guides.

If you are interested to be an angler in the 2-day event, the cost is $500. All meals are provided, however you are responsible for your own lodging.
(I know, $500 is a lot of money but remember, it's a good cause)

If you are interested to be a guide in the event you need to provide boat, tackle and all equipment for two anglers for the 2 days of fishing.

If interested, please call the Oregon Wildlife Heritage Foundation (503) 255-6059 asap!

For those interested, here is the Rendezvous Agenda:

Wednesday, November 7, 2001

5-7 pm Dinner, Registration of Guides and Anglers.
7 pm Guides Meeting, Angling Team Selection, Team Assignments.

Thursday, November 8,2001

5-6:30 am Breakfast and Pick-up Lunches
3-5 pm Weigh-In
5 pm No Host Happy Hour
6 pm Dinner
7 pm Auction and Door Prizes

Friday, November 9, 2001

5-6:30 am Breakfast and Pick-up Lunches
3-4:30 pm Weigh-In

The Auction on Thursday evening has always been a good one, every year our good friend Willie, donates one of his famous drift-boats, (the past two or three years it's been a ready to fish 17 footer!) There are also great fishing items to bid on as well as some beautiful wildlife art items.

It's just a great time to be had by all those who participate and attend.

If you can't make it this year, start planning now for the 18th annual event!

Hey Capt.!

I'll see you there! By the way, you were looking pretty fancy "all duded up" in that white Ford pick-up I saw you in the other day! images/icons/wink.gif

Hummingbird,

If we get some rain this week, grab those eggs and head to the Nestucca! Your 2 week drought will be over!

Gregg,

See ya there???
Hope so!
Good Luck!
