I was thinking of heading over to the coast for some fishing Sunday. With the rain today, how was the action today, and which would be your choice?

I'd really appreciate a report also.
Bill's been really sick all week and it looks like he may finally feel up to going tomorrow! YEE HAW WADERS!
Anyway... Yeah, Where??
What? How?

From the reports I got today it wasn't a pretty one.

I had several guys tell me the bite went off, BIG time.

I only had one customer come back to show me his 25 pound Trask River Hen, that was very good looking. But he said all the fish are turning black.

Even the Wilson turned OFF.

Maybe the bite will go back on tomorrow!

Does anybody have any other reports?

I would like to know what to say tomorrow.

Well tide water is always a safe bet right now.

I think the mouth of the Wilson will be good.

No promisessssssss....

Just give it a try...

Thanks,

Wasn't anyone out fishing the bay or Nehalem today who can help me figure out if it's worth the trip over towing the boat for Sunday?

Thanks in advance for the advice. Several of us would like to know.

Fished T-Bay today and saw a few fish caught. It was very slow. Saw one sled who ran up the Wilson and got three nice fish. They had a little color but some nice eggs. I think he got them on bobbers and eggs. Wilson and the Trask are low and clear. Stopped by the gravel pit behind the Guide Shop. Several fisherman and a lot of snagging. I think the next good rain storm should really bring some fish in.

I fished the Nehalem today and saw no action as far up as the North Fork. Saw three nooks caught above that point and below the barn hole. Not exactly "hot".
