Vision Hooks

[Catch 22]

How can I get my hands on some of these hooks? I've been less than satisfied with the Gamis lately. Well, the red ones lately anyway. The anodizing comes off the hook out of the package. I expect a little more quality for the $ that they charge. I like the treated hooks because I won't sharpen a hook. I'd rather replace it. If I could find a quality hook at the right price, I would be a long term customer. I've tried every store around and nobody carries Visions. Can I buy in bulk at a discount? I see their "pro staffers" on this board, so I thought I would check here.

I think Marie at Tillamook Bait has some.
Or, do a search on Superfly and e mail him. I know he has some!!!
What I do, is take a sampling of hooks, Mustad, Owner, Daiichi, Vision, Gams, and tie up with a different one each time.
Use them until you are familiar with their differences.
Feel them in your hand, keep touching the point as you use them, as they get snagged. Use your file to see how they sharpen, and how often they need to be sharpened. Note how easy or difficult it is to sharpen them.
My lack of eyesight forces me to use touch more than vision. I think this helps me to decide which hooks I'd rather not have stuck in my mouth!
